Dustin’s Wedding Party
Brad and my relationship has been one that has steadily progressed since we first met at church in 2009ish. We traveled in slightly different social circles but became closer when he began dating and eventually marrying Rebecca (who I had already developed a friendship with). The more I have gotten to know Brad over the years, the more I see what an amazing, well-rounded individual he is. We have gone on many adventures together and through all of the shenanigans, he has remained a well poised, wise, and well tempered Christian. Let’s just say-he helps me stay on course. I am very proud of Brad’s life as a Christian, a husband, an engineer, and an athlete. These traits and many more motivate me to elevate my standards and enjoy the journey along the way. Thanks Brad!
Rebie is the other half of the power couple that is Brad and Rebecca. I have often thought that in many respects, her and I could pass as siblings. We share many common personality traits, and the ones she has that I don’t, I wish that I did possess. Rebie is one of the most humble people I know. A Dr. of Physical Therapy, and accomplished multi-sport athlete, and someone who has a hard time not making friends. Her positivity is contagious and she is a very caring and supportive friend. The quality friendship I have had with her and Brad over the last few years has both helped me to really enjoy my singleness, and at the same time showed me how rewarding and how much fun marriage can be. Jeff, like Brad, has been someone I’ve been around for years (since 2009ish) that I have enjoyed a rich, fulfilling, progressively closer friendship with. Contrary to my friendship with Rebie, Jeff and I couldn’t be much more different, with the major exception that the way we think is eerily similar. In the past, most of my friendships have revolved around doing activities, but with Jeff I learned to value of enjoying time together just talking. More than with any other guy, Jeff and I have spent hours on the phone discussing everything from Gorilla Marketing to the role the imputation of Jesus’ righteousness plays in our Justification. Jeff’s long list of talents, interests, experience, and abilities make him a jack of all trades, master of none, though the sum of which is greater than one. Jeff has helped me through some of my lowest times and has been my most influential friend and I attribute a great deal of where I am today to our friendship. Thanks Jeff!
Desiree is another person who I am so proud to call my friend. She has endured a lot in life through the power of the Holy Spirit and she is one of the strongest, determined, most persevering people I know. She is a great daughter/sister to her family, a wonderful friend to many people, a loving and devoted wife to Ross and step-mother to Lauren, and like Jeff she has a lifetime of experience and abilities in which she could go any direction. Our friendship began in 2011 when we were both working at the San Diego Zoo and our first conversation was about the faith in Jesus which we both share. Unfortunately, we have only been able to see each other once or twice a year for the past 5 or 6 years, but our quality phone calls have formed a deep and lasting friendship. I love how smart, funny, and straightforward Desiree can be. She loves big and gives you all that she has to give. I am so much of who I am today because of our friendship. Thank you Desiree!

Jason is such an amazing guy. Similar to the other four people on this list, Jason has had so many different life experiences that has lead him to the wonderful man he is today. Jason became my roommate in February 2007 and we lived together until early 2013. Like brothers, him and I have grown up together; dating, jobs, churches, hobbies, you name it, and we have seen each other through it. Jason has given me many shirts off of his back and I am very grateful for the consistency of his character, friendship, and faith. My first Sunday at the church denomination I attend was April 2011, the day of his baptism. It is so great that we have been able to share a similar trajectory if life and I am so proud of the man you have become. Thanks Jason!
